PAULETTE’S CHAIR

This short film is one of the most exciting animation projects I have taken part in. Proposed by director Hiroyasu Ishida, Palette's chair knows how to tell a story in just a few frames. Music accompanies the adventures of the little girl protagonist, arousing excitement, nostalgia, and at times sadness

LANDRONAUT

UROBORO

Among the many productions of the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome, this short film by director Mauro Diez Concari jumps out at you. The music accompanies the hostile and mournful environment elicited by the scenes, generating, in the eyes of the viewer, an aura of mystery and compassion for the protagonist

Playing with sound palettes and finding new textures always gives me new excitement.

As a musician I strongly believe in the potential of digital music mixed with traditional composition. The art of making music fascinates me every single day.

COMPETITIONS

THE LOST PIANO

The lost Piano is the story of a man who goes back to his past, remembers hard times and finds in music a sense of relief. The music moves and tells with a few instruments. A piano, a solo violin, and a clarinet are more than enough to tell this story full of meaning and emotion

SHIBIL

In the 19th century, the outlaw Shibil falls in love with Rada, whose father, a merchant, uses her as bait to prove instead his undying loyalty to the Ottoman Empire. This is the plot underlying this excerpt from Nikola Bozadzhiev's celebrated feature film. The excerpt corresponds to my submission for the FFM scoring contest

IL RITRATTO

This music composed for director Francesco Della Ventura, an emerging up-and-comer on the Roman film scene, is meant to accompany the themes of the short film. Disgust, sense of mystery and fear are the watchwords I used to compose the soundtrack for this wonderful and intriguing story
